Ram Janmabhoomi

Ram Janmabhoomi is considered to be the birthplace of the revered Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu. It has been stated in the epic, Ramayana, that Lord Rama took birth on the banks of river Sarayu, in Ayodhya. There had been various political and religious disputes over the land, but now the Ram Janmabhoomi land has been given to the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust and the temple is under construction. This place is considered to be so sacred that every Hindu must visit this place and feel the spiritual and positive presence of lord Rama.
On this visit, one has to walk a lot, so keep yourself hydrated. You’ll find canteens, public washrooms and water dispensers easily. It is a very peaceful and energetic place, and one may visit and find peace in his inner soul.
Tips
- The entry is free.
- Cameras and mobile phones are not allowed in this vicinity.
- There are at least 5 checkpoints where security guards shall check you and your belongings. So, do not take any unreasonable material along with you.
- The timings are 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
